DynaVap
DynaVap has been around for a few years now and is well known for their vaporizers that do not use batteries, but instead external heat from a butane torch. DynaVap has been growing very quickly and is becoming one of the top names in vaporizers. The OmniVap XL Titanium is one of their high-end products improving on the ‘M’ in a number of ways.
What’s in the box?
The OmniVap XL Titanium is made up of the titanium chamber tip, the standard cap, The
How do you use it?
First, you take the cap off and load some ground material in the heating chamber. It should be very loose and not tightly packed to ensure that you are getting the most out of your material. If it’s tightly packed then the air can’t flow properly and you will waste some material.
After it’s loaded you put the cap on and start heating it. The best way to heat it seems to be slowly rotating the OmniVap and holding the cap just above the inner cone of the torch flame. You can affect the heat by changing how close to the tip of the cap you heat. Holding the flame near the tip of the cap will give you a lower temperature than heating it near the middle or base of the cap.
After the cap reaches the proper temperature you will hear the iconic click. You will hear 1 or 2 clicks and then you will know it’s ready to hit. Once it’s ready I cover the carb and inhale, then near the end of my hit I release the carb and continue to inhale a bit more.
After your hit, you should leave it for a few seconds to cool down. As it cools you will hear the cap click again to let you know it’s cooled off enough and you are able to heat it up again.
Cleaning is also made simple since the whole thing comes apart and allows you to get at all the nooks and crannies. You can simply add some cleaning solution to the tube the OmniVap came in and put all the pieces in the tube. Then you carry it in your pocket and the heat and sloshing will clean it up with no effort.
How well does it work?
The OmniVap XL Titanium has a number of improvements over the ‘M’ model. The titanium design makes it much lighter and stronger than the ‘M’ despite its larger size. The longer condenser also makes your hits smoother and cooler making the whole experience cleaner.
The titanium tip on the OmniVap also seems to have better heating properties and has better airflow than the ‘M’ model.
It is an extremely efficient vaporizer and the small size makes it easy to use anywhere you are. It can be heated with anything from a butane torch, to an element on an electric stove so you will almost always be able to use it.
After a few weeks of use there is some discoloration on the tip and cap but this is very minor and can actually look nice. There have been no issues with it so far and I have been using it more than any of my battery powered vaporizers.
The flavour on the DynaVap vaporizers is always fantastic and the OmniVap is no exception. The flavour is pure and fresh and the material can get very dark before it starts to taste bad. It seems to taste fresh longer than most vaporizers.
